The RED KOMODO is an ultra-compact 6K cinema camera that boasts superb image quality thanks to its color management and 19.9MP Super 35mm Global Shutter CMOS sensor. The latter revolutionizes the technique by eliminating the need to sacrifice dynamic range while meeting the RED imaging standard without any creative or technical compromises.
RED has chosen to integrate an RF mount on its KOMODO. As a result, you benefit from a large-diameter mount that receives more light. This mount also offers flexibility and compatibility thanks to the many different lens adapters, such as Canon EF, PL and Leica M mounts.
There's also a high-resolution touchscreen for ease of use and productivity. It lets you quickly preview content and browse menus.
To record your content, you'll need a CFast 2.0 card, which is a widely available, standardized and reliable medium.
On the power supply side, KOMODO features a DC IN power port and can also be powered by two Canon BP-style batteries.
